Just to say that I was having a few problems with regard to a STT tournament I was in (playing on BPL) when Tribeca came crashing down, about ten days ago.

After struggling to try and get my money back directly from Bowman's, I mentioned it on here and Baron immediately took up the fight.

Anyway, I just found my refund waiting for me in my account today - so I just wanted to say a huge public THANK YOU and  and  to him for sorting it out for me.

If you ever have any problems - and of course I hope that you don't - Baron is your man.

Ayyyarr the Blondes!

Yup, well done Aaron.

The point is, of course, if you have a gripe with the blonde Card-Room, speak to US, not Bowmans. We take responsibility, for better or worse. And contrary to what some peeps may say, we DO care that everyone gets fairly treated. And as far as I know, everyone has been looked after properly.

We are not pushing it TOO hard yet, as we still need to get a handle on this "Registering Your Card" business. They (Bowmans) tell us that it's the way ALL online Card-Rooms will be obliged to work soon. I dunno about that, but we are working on it steadily.

It seems a bit stupid that all cardrooms will work that way when all they ask for could eaily be forged in photoshop in a matter of minutes...

As Nemesis mentioned before, you can blank out the numbers on your card if you want to go by this route - so your safety wont be compomised. The answer, in my eyes, is Neteller. I've recently changed my GBP account to USD and it took me all of 10 minutes. Opening an account would be even shorter.

I am getting a piece written by Bowmans about the regitration procedure and about how it IS going to effect almost every online cardroom. I'll put it up on www.blondepokerleague.com when I get it. From what I understand of the situation, very soon, even PokerStars will be going by this route. So it's not just us. Theft and fraud will be easier to protect against, so if every site is going to be doing it, I'm all for it.

Indestructable - have Fowler back? Are you kidding me? He's all we have up front! Cheesy

Did you manage to change your account and keep your username? I did the same thing but was told I needed to create a new account and new username, but in the end the support did it all for me and I just had to tell them the new username I wanted to play under.
That said, Neteller definately seems like the way forward! Haven't figured out how to connect neteller to my bank account yet, but the Bank->Party->Neteller->Blonde route works just fine Smiley

Aaron scores again......

We had as big player trying to withdraw some cash winnings, & he had a problem getting the cash out. He wrote to me at 4pm today, I passed it on to Aaron, Aaron had it sorted in 10 minutes flat.

Well done Aaron, & bear with us guys, slowly slowly we are working out how to use this cardroom.

Hmmmmmm amd wouldn't you know this is the "gripe" I mentioned on the other thread and I am glad that Aaron can get this sorted.
