This is a no brainer. If you have any patience and discipline whatsoever you pass.
The two reasons are...
a) if you play the 72 and win, you may well have to play whatever comes your way on the Big Blind anyway
b) let's say it's a straight choice of playing this had or the BB (which it is to be honest) your decision should be based on well a choice of 2. So is this hand above average? No. The next hand will probably be better.
I would pass any hand worse than Q7 and play the Big Blind instead
