What a bok from TightEnd! 33 seconds! Is that a new record?

Anyhow, for those who missed my post earlier ,apologies for the lack of photos, but the Southampton connection has made this impossible.

However, I have been taking many a snap, all of which will be uploaded onto the main site in the form of a gallery within the next two days.

So keep your eyes peeled...

ooh ooh

Just spotted a big hand, most of the chips went Royce's way, which means that Jenkins is low again.

The flop was

The turn and river were blanks, but quite a few chips had been thrown around, including a 10k river bet by Royce which found a call.

Jenkins had , whilst Royce won the pot with top pair.

Nick Jenkins has just doubled up his shorstack in strange circumstances.

K-2 v 3-3 of Harris.

Board = Q-6-7-Q-7

The dealer pushed the chips to Sid, Nick rose from his seat, the players shook hands... then someone noticed the error that oh so many people make.

Current chippy counts:

Nick Jenkins -- 25k
Sid Harris -- 160k
Adrian Royle -- 175k

Jenkins doubles up again, this time it's Adrian's tur.

A-K v A-T

No assistance from the board.

Harris makes a small raise, Jenkins calls from the big blind.

Flop =

Jenkins moves all-in and Harris folds his pocket tens.

Nick Jenkins is OUT and is the 3rd place finisher winning £3,600

Battle of the blinds with Harris in the big.

Jenkins found pocket fours and moved in, Harris called instantyl with A-Q suited.

Board =

River...

EEK!

And on that note, the two remaining players have agreed on a deal.

£11,600 to Sid Harris and £10,000 to Adrian Royle

Seems very generous considering the chip-lead Sid has.

And just like that, it's over...

... with, would you believe it, a proper hand. So, even though there was a deal struck, the final hand was still played out properly.

So therefore...

Adrian Royce is OUT and is the 2nd place finisher winning £10,000

All the chips went in on the turn with the board showing.

9-2-A-Q

Royle held Q-2 (two pair) whilst Harris was sitting pretty with Q-Q (set). Ten river made no difference as Royle was drawing dead.

Which all means that...

SID HARRIS IS THE SOUTH OF ENGLAND POKER CHAMPIONSHIPS WINNING £11,600

So, it's only left for Jen and I to bid you farewell. Thanks for watching, we're off home to watch some TV and get some much needed sleep.

Night night, folks... and don't forget to stay on the lookout for the Southampton gallery on the main site which, of course, will display all the photos that I was unable to treat you with today.

Fork time. Over and Out.

Hey guys, I've just got back home having caught an early train. Thanks for all your support through the tournament, it was much appreciated. And thanks to Jen and Snoopy who even gave me a lift in the car for the 1 minute (by foot) journey to the casino on the Monday, and along with Jon, also allowed me to annoy them during the breaks.
