Morning all.  Just a word of warning that there seems to be a new hoax e-mail message from 'e-bay' going around. It takes the form of a query from a buyer of an item you're supposedly selling.  The text of the message is below, although when sent to you, it is identical to the message you usually receive when someone sends something to you through 'my messages'.  If you click the link on the message you're of course prompted to log-in as you usually are.  So whatever you do, don't log in using this link to log in - instead, open up e-bay in a separate window and check 'my messages' directly.  Seems they're getting more sophisticated, as if you sell multiple items frequently this could easily catch you out.... cheeky buggers!!!

When copying these messages to other locations you can only see the url as it's meant to be seen and not the actual destination that the original email will take you too.

If you hover a cursor over the link in the original email you'll see it isn't ebay.com that you are going to.

If he can get away with that, will I be able to get away with auctioning off shares in eBay, on eBay?
