Joe Beevers has doubled up courtesy of an oldish English fellow called Tom.

Joe raised to 3.2k from under the gun and Tom smooth called from the big blind.

Flop comes J-T-5, followed by a Beevers bet of 3.2k.

Tom reraises another 6k, allowing Joe to make another raise for 15k more.

After a dwell of around two minutes, Tom calls with his pocket queens only to find Joe sitting pretty (well, elegantly) with his set of jacks.

The late night poker man must be on around the 65k mark now.

And here's Mr. Beevers in the last break, chatting to Padraig and the back of John Duthie (well, that's the part you can see, not the part that was being chatted to)

Sorry, no sign of the Televised Poker Icons as yet, but we'll be sure to snap them when they show up.  To be honest, I don't blame them for avoiding the crowds today.

Johan Storakers' final hand was an all-in push preflop with , and he couldn't have been too unhappy with the call -

But the board came three diamonds which was no good, and another player shakes the hands and walks the out-walk.

Mark Teltscher has been relieved of his position in this year's European WPT by a certain Mr Phil Hellmuth.

All-in preflop.

Phil shows Big Slick, Mark A-T.

"Nice hand", comments Phil.

"I'm not out of the woods yet," replies Phil.

He was though by the river and an 8-3-5-2-A board.

"Bad play, Phil?" enquires Mark as if they've been pals for a lifetime.

"Seemed like...' hesitates Phil, "well, do you want me to be honest?"

Mark nods.

"I reckon it was a little too much to risk with A-T," critisises an honest Poker Brat. " I threw in 35k instead of 36 to make it look like a weak bet."

Mark shrugs his shoulders and exits the cardroom.

I've been relieved of my coke duties, but, in all fairness, he took his exit well.

Aaron, send this man 100 ipods as his prize.

Meanwhile, John Duthie is down to the felt after a rather nasty beat.

He called an early position raise with Q-8 suited (caused his own downfall perhaps?), and then, after the 5-9-J-T board gave him a potentially lucrative straight, shoved all those chips in quicker than a tikay exit.

Mateyboy, with his tourney on the line, flips over K-J and spikes a Queen on the river for a bigger straight.

Ouch!

I'm going to hang over Duthie now like a vulture, as it looks like his sawn song is fast approaching.

Here's young Roman Yitzhaki who turned around a bad start to the day into his current average stack.  I kind of lumped him in with the brashYoungAmericans, but he's actually very personable.  And plays some big old games.  Like this one.

Calling all Chessa fans, the ribena berry is on 36,500.

Meanwhile, on that very table, Christer Johannson raises 3.8k from the button, Kabbaj moves all-in for another 23.1k and the former folds.

The Dinner Break Draws Nigh, and there are a couple of all-ins - one after a raise from Roman Yitzhaki to 3,500, a re-raise from the gent in the seat next to him to 10,500, and then a push for over 30k.  Roman passed quickly, Matey called quickly, and Hellmuth offered, "Kings?"

He was close, it was against and we're down to 63.

And we're a Duthie down...

He moved over the top of a button raiser with Big Slick, but his 31.7k extra was called by Q-Q.

Although the flop gave his opponent trips, the board wasn't without hope...
