as the current champion , i think my opinions count double, i agree about the earlier start time for rebuy, and the addition of a omaha game, and only 5 scores counting for youre total ,as i would still have won using those rules Grin

Just out of curiosity, how would people react to 'later' start times instead of earlier ones?

say, 11pm? I ask because I usually see threads on here like "anyone up for an extended $5 stt" and they're usually started after 11pm (and most often more like midnight)

Plus, if Blonde games start at 11pm, there would likely be no clash for me with the Blue Square games (which start at 8.30pm), if only because a weak-tight herring like me is usually blinded out by then  Grin

Thanks Brad.

You would have won (comfortably) but going into game 12 it'd have been very exciting between 6 or 7 players!

Thanks Zimbra,

The comps on average take 2+ hours so I think this will only reduce our numbers on weeknights.

I am happy people seem content with the cost of the entry to the various league tournements, it gives everyone a chance regardless of bankroll.

It would be great to have a Omaha or Stud comp once a week also to mix it up. What with only the top 5 results counting people dont feel the pressure to enter every comp.

I agree - but first, I have to say it would be great if Tribeca actually started doing stud comps!  Cheesy

I enjoyed the league events although i only managed to compete in two or three due to tournaments at the casino and home games which i play in very frequently. Therefore i think the idea of only the 5 best points totals scoring towards your tally is a great idea.

This also means that some people who don't like the banded around idea of Ohama rebuys/tournaments don't neccessarily have to compete in these events (I'm a Stud fan myself, need to play more omaha to learn it properly) and this won't totally hurt their chances in the league standings.

Are you still on the fence between rebuy/freezeout for Omaha comp.

If so, you may wish to consider that the freezeout option may encourage more new players. If they know exactly how much it will cost them, they might be more inclined to try something new.

Thanks Tank,

I am leaning towards Omaha freeze. My current thinking is variation is the spice of life.

1 NLHE freezeout $10 (with bounties) this will always be on a Monday for tikay and Dave's appearances - I'm toying with the idea of bounties coming as points for the league.

1 NLHE rebuy (small buy-in - $3) - as it lasts longer this will be a Thurs and start earlier.

1 PLO freezeout - probably $5 - leaving this event for the Weds night, just like our trial run this week, amazing that.Wink

This all depends on the Omaha filling well tomrrow night. If it doesn't it back to Hold'em.

Hello Aaron

I was lucky enough to hit 4 bounties in the last tourney and it was correct that I didn’t receive points. I think tournament points should reflect overall play and final positions in individual games is the best measure of this. There might be a case for points distribution to follow a payout percentages format.

I never played many of the events but I agree with most of the suggestions on here about the play.

Omaha is a defo freezeout event for me.  I really liked the $3 rebuy.

I still have a few issues with Tribecca though first one is the Clock can we not have that changed so it works on our time??  BST.

Secondly is the carry on when withdrawing why do these have to be manually withdrawn, it frustrates me big time that when I decide I have had enough that I still have money sitting in mya ccount 24 - 48 hrs after I have sent a withdrawal request.  Why can't they come into line with most ther sites in that whne you withdraw once you click the submit button you can no longer have that cash in your account?

Anyway enough moaning lets finnish on a positive.

I am happy with the options but wuld like to see a full monthly schedule posted so I know what dates everything is on.

Bring it on Blondes!

Perhaps it may be an idea to take a % of the cash and have an overall cash prize to the winner at the end?
