On Friday i had a call from a mate (yes hard to believe) and he was on his way to Walsall for the £5 chip chucking contest.
He wanted to know if i was going and i though great, haven't been to a casino in ages and i love this comp, so off i trot for a shower and all that.
At 8.15 i call him back and say i'm ready and just about to leave.
Hang on he says, you'll never make it now, registration closes at 8.30 now!!!
WTF?? when did they change this?, bugger, nevermind though i'll go to the Broadway for the £20 rebuy instead.
So, off i trot to the Broadway but traffic was a little ugly and parking consisted of lapping the car park for 5 mins, still i get there at 8.50 and guess waht?
Registration closed, you must be there at 8.45!!
The whole point of this is to say, why the f**k don't they tell people when they change the reg times??
Walsall usually send out a schedule but i haven't had one for a while and the Broadway have never done it.

Is it too difficult to let the players know they are changing a fundimental thing like the reg time?
None of the online comp guides show the reg times have changed either, SNOPPY!!!!!!!!!
As i was leaving the Broadway i said to another equally unlikely mate that i'd see him at the £50 rebuy at walsall on Saturday, he said "you do realise it's a 6.30 reg don't ya?"
NO!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.
