They interviewed this guy on 5 Live a bit back, sounded like he's done quite well.

Life can be good to some people eh!

I think I may have beaten this guy.  We were talking about this at work yesterday and I said I might have a go myself.  I asked my colleague what he'd give me for my pair of (slighly rusty) scissors, to which he replied "my house".  Verbal contract is binding isn't it?!

i only remember because i offered my seat for a black and white stripey paperclip.

I still got my seat and no stripey paperclip Cry

Looks like i'm just going to have to grit my teeth and suffer the fortnight in Vegas - though if i have a bad main event its because i'm still suffering the disappointment of not having a stripey paperclip!!

would you take a pair of rusty scissors instead Matt? (just in case the house thing falls through)

Will you buy yourself a new rope swing with your WSOP winnings matt?   With $10 million, you should be able to splash out on a top of the range Monster Truck tyre with expensive silk rope .  However the added weight from the tyre will mean that in order to hold it, you will need a larger tree.  If you want a larger tree, you will need to buy a large house with a forest garden.   That's half the money gone already.

I buy myself a banana plantation first - will worry about a new tyre swing at a later date, my soft pirelli still has a lot of wear left in it yet!! Wink
