Cheesy

At the mo, I'm waiting for the Hoover Dam tour bus. Then I'm out on the lash coz it's ma buffday.

It's been more of a holiday than a poker expedition for me, so not much to report from the felt.

Have played 6 single table satellites at the Rio. In the first one, in the very first hand, I drew the button and two red aces. It felt like a good start to a WSOP run.

Unfortunately, I wasn't dealt them every hand. I've only won one of those sats, and even that was a meager three way chop.

The last one I played pissed me off a bit, due to beata afta beata. I think that was a blessing in disguise. I made myself take a day off afterwards, and as I had such a good time, I took another 7 days off for the 'ellava it.

It's given me a chance to really get to know the town. I'm trying to visit every casino, (have done 32 so far) and see loadsa those shows they got going on here. At the same time I'm trying to drink Nevada dry of Guinness.

Up a little bit at the cash after a couple of sessions, so it's not all bad news on the poker front.

Back soon, to spend an unhealthy length of time posting drivel on my favourite poker forum, and watching the Main Event from the cheap seats in blighty.

Like I said earlier to you mate, the Hoover Dam trip sounds amazing.  I want a full report.  When I go to the WSOP in the future that is one thing I really want to go and visit.

Was the Hoover Dam the one James Bond abseiled or jumped off?
