Well we are all set to go in Dublin with the 500 warm up NLH tournament at the City West Hotel. And very nice it is here too. Plush golf courses, spas and grand entrance halls, I think I am going to like it just fine here. Smiley

5000 starting chips and Thimas Kremser as Tournament Director
Some faces we have seen wondering round the card room are:
David Lloyd,
Joe Grech
Micky Cook
Paul 'Action Jack' Jackson
Howard Plant - no loud shirt today, wonder if he is feeling alright?Huh?
Padraig Parkinson
Roy Brindley
Mick McClubkoy
Dave Colclough
Julian Thew and his brother Graham Thew
Rumit
Greg Junior Hill
Chris Brule
Eric the screw Barker
Carlo Citrone
George Geary & his brother
Willie Tann
Jon Shoreman
Shifty Stevens
Graham Putt from New Zealand
Dave O'Neill
Norman Welsh
Dave Gardiner
Liam Flood
Frunel Callagham
and of course our hard working tikay

Please excuse any misspells of name. Spelling was never my forte.

There are now 131 runners!

there were some stragglers banging on the door to get in. They felt sorry for them so they said alright then, take a seat over there but don't make a habbit of it.

Some more players we know here are Goerge Mckeever, Alan Beyson, and Julian Gardner

Oh a bit of action going on....

tikay reported to me that George Geary with A6 was up against McKeever who has JJ, fop comes 3,4,7,J,5
These frisky players got all their chips in on this one and it was a re-buy for McKeever, while Geary Doubled up.

What does the crystal ball say now?

not sure i think it depends on how rusty carlo is and how many rebuys he takes

but i guess 1450k sounds about right

If kevin and Padraig make the final they had better send someone out to restock the Red Label supplies. A further raiding party from England will arrive tomorrow so expect the main event to be full and many alternates (nothing new there then).
