I just went in 21st. Snoopy on about 20k when I left, Red on about 50k, blinds 1.5k/3k. Money pays down to 18th. £7680 for first. Ian Woodley and Willie Tann also still in.

I never had more than 15k in the whole tournament, no AA, KK or QQ in 8 and half hours of playing. lol. Finally pushed with  on the button only to run into SB's  , board came a sick  . Jen went late last night when she got crippled holding  on a two club 9 high board and the big blind hadn't raised his pocket Tens preflop and called her re-raise all-in. Red got an amazing double up last hand last night when he raised in EP with AA, only for someone to declare that they didn't want to hang around with 36k for day 2 (blinds being 1k/2k!!!) and promptly pushed all in with A4...

Am back at Jen and Dana's so my connection could go any minute. Good comp by the Gutshot anyway, Red managed to persuade them to make the clock 40 minutes instead of 30 and there were a number of extra levels fitted in.

Hello there.

After driving down to the Gutshot for their start-of-festival £200 NL freezeout with Snoopy, RED-DOG and NoFlopsChrisHall in my car, we found a 40 min clock and pretty decent structure (boding well for anyone heading for their £500 main event on Saturday).

Anyway - long story short - they pay 18, who return for second day.  Every passenger in the car makes it, leaving the driver to sulkily return home by her lonesome.

Snoops and Dog still in at present; a weary Chris has returned to his sofa-bed in my living room.

Just thought I'd wave a small flag for the updaters.

Go guys.

......but snoops is in the (9 man) final - he has 39k, ave is 48k.

He won his seat for this event in a one-card turnover!

He's worked his socks off for blonde, so is missing Baden to take a rest & play Gutshot this week.

I really hope he cashes big. Delighted for him.

GOOD LUCK SLOPPY
Logged

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
