today i got a parcel thought the post it came from DesD and comtained a silver medal for coming 2nd in the french open
the medal is beautiful in a lovely display case
now before today my parents always thought that poker was just gambling
but now they have put the silver medal in the centre of the family trophey cabinet
i feel for the first time that my folks are actually accept poker as a sport rather than just a way to waste money
my aim now is to get a gold medal to take its place

Nice one Ironside.  My folks were the same, quietly proud that I was doing well with my poker, but not 100%...encouraging. Win a bit of bling and suddenly they want to tell everyone about what you've won playing poker. Nowt as queer as your own folks.  |
