Ouch!!

Just catching up on the WPT series 3, from when i was away.  Did anyone see that hand between Danny Nguyen and Shandor Szentkuti.

Danny went all in with A7s aqnd was called by Shandor with AK.  Flop was K55 (none of danny's suit).  So going into the turn, Shandor was a 99.5% favourite.  All Danny could catch was running 5's for a split pot or running 7's for a full house.

Yep you guessed it, he hit running 7's!!! It was a 274:1 shot.

I have never seen a bigger suck out in percentage terms than that - has anyone else? Is it even possible?

i held QT and flop came QQT after getting it all in the turn and river gave my oppo with pp8s quads

I bet you spent time calculating that figure STRIAGHT after the beat just to find out how badly done over you were. 

We've all been there.

nope it was easy to find out as its the worst possible beat there is 989 combinations of 2 cards to come after the flop if hole cards are known

and the only possible way for me too lose that hand v 88 was if the 2 remaining hit so there fore a 989-1 chance

Not sure which makes me feel more sick.

Going out of a tournament from a beat like that.

Or going out after making a bad call.


For me, it is probably the latter, but it don't half hurt if it keeps happening.
