In a couple of weeks I am due to be playing in a live £20 5 Card Draw Shootout tournament.....

Don't ask why on earth that has been chosen as the game of choice for the evening!  They have not even specified how many draws there will be (I assume you can have more than one) or whether it will be fixed limit or pot limit.

What I could do with though is any links/advice with some decent strategy on the game (preferably tourno specific but beggars can't be choosers).

I have literally played it for about 10 minutes on Boss Media once messing about and thought it was a bit dull.

I'm already leaning towards getting myself out early and organising some hold'em side games......

Jamie.

They usually have some games on PokerRoom if you want to practice - and it's genreally one draw only - But you really need to know how many draws you will be playing as this will greatly affect your strategy!
