Jim Kerrigan is out. He had A-J on an ace high board with two spades. He called aggressive mateyboy's all in bet but mateyboy had
and a further spade ended Jim's tilt at the title.
There's a €500 event at the Fitzwilliam club that a lot of people are considering going to. Jim is now one of their number.

Wille Tann makes what he refers to as a Jesse James bet, 4,500 from under the gun.
The action folds round to the Big Blind, who shows 7-2 off.
Willie asks his neighbour to pick one card, which he does, peeling off an eight in the process.
The announcers adds, "Well, he was definitely ahead then."

Some bad Stu news now:
Stu Rutter just had his Aces cracked by
on a
board. He's managed to double up to 15k though against the same player when his
held
on a
board.
Was this all in preflop or on flop action?
All-in on the flop. He's stolen a few blinds got around 23k now.

There was a bit of a dispute on one table, Roland really wasn't happy and was looking for a ruling.
Roland had called Mateyboy's bet on a board of
-2h-2s-Js-Td with A-8o and won the pot, but he was made to show his hand.
Mateyboy had mucked his hand, but Roland was saying that if his opponent was mucking, then why should he show?
Anyhow, Big TK made Roland show his hand, saying that you have to expose your hand to claim the pot.
Personally, I think that if you make the call then you have every right to see your opponent's hand.
In a similar situation earlier, Foxy bet 5k on the river of a board which was eventually called, and Foxy put his hand straight in the muck and matey wasn't forced to show.

Can't. I'm playing a blackjack tournament online at 9pm to try and win a seat in the Ultimate Blackjack Tour. Have won my way in via a sit n go freeroll, which won me a seat in a 5-round mutli-table qualifier, in which I made the final, which got me a seat in the event tonight. The winner of this goes straight to the final table of the televised event, in L.A in December.

Stu Fox doubles up
vs
,
board.
His opponent had 400 chips left and had to stick 200 in for the ante, he doubled up with J-7 off vs K-Q hitting both cards to give him 2400, but he had to post the big blind next, he was put all-in for the extra 200 by the SB who hadn't looked but had Q-2 off which was behind to the pocket 9's he managed to flip over!! Then on the button he pushed his 5k or so which was called by the SB but Stu Fox re-raised with A-T which was ahead of the K-8, but an Eight came on the river to put him back over 15k! Pretty impressive huh?

Play has finally slowed down a little after the inevitable rush of the first couple of level.
There are 50 players left in this year's Dublin EPT with an average stack of 77,800.
The blinds are currently 1,000 and 2,000 with a running ante of 200, although they are due to rise in 5 minutes.
