Knowing the level of someone's bankroll is useless without knowing the games/limits they play and whether they play full time or are recreational etc.

Just asking for the $ value out of the blue seems like nosiness for the sake of nosiness.

My point is that if this were a poll started because it grew out of a discussion on bankrolls, or was intended to start a discussion on bankroll management then fair enough.

But this just seems like a poll for the sake of starting a poll.

I disagree.

Pounds, schillings and pence. There's no getting away from them. This info would be especially interesting to someone unfamiliar with poker.

I like polls for the sake of polls.

It is interesting to see what kind of bankroll/players are on the forum, and i am pretty sure its not compulsory to vote, read or post on the thread.

Can we have narrower options?
Maybe a couple of levels above the $1mil?

May the investigative pursuit of social sciences pertaining to poker flourish.

Restraints placed upon polls such as these by the bankroll questionaire police on puritancal grounds serve little purpose.

Can I just clarify Nemesis before I answer?

I have just collected the combined figures for pension plans, life insurance policies, investments, my main domicile,  rented property,my collection of Panini Stickers 1978-79 (estimated value) and my Robert Varkonyi limited edition autograph on beer mat, estimated 2002

do you want these included to produce a combined figure with my poker bankroll or do you wish to start a new poill for "life bankroll"?

Your advice appreciated please
