Ok, let me set the scene....
I love Christmas,

I love my wife,

I love buying presents for her,

Considering all of the above you'd think that this would be a great time of the year for me and yes you'd be right!
All except one little part of it that is.............wrapping the blooming things!

It's not that I don't want to do it, I just find it's something I'm particularly rubbish at doing.
I've built up some "present rules" over the years such as always buying easily wrappable ready-boxed items, not to mention getting wrapping paper that has lines printed on it to assist my cutting out! Hell, I've even now got a sellotape dispenser from the Betterware lady!
Despite all this every year I end up with a pile of presents for my wife that look that our five year old godson could have wrapped up. Actually that's probably doing him a disservice as well !

Anyway, tonight's the night for the annual nightmare as she's out singing and I'm currently poised with scissors, wrapping paper, labels, bows etc etc
