Got to go with the Smiths for the 80's with Jam a close second
90's - Oasis
00's - got to agree with previous post that no-one stands out but if had to choose it would be Keane for me.
Morrissey, of course is still going strong and is as good as ever. Went to SECC at end of year and he was awesome.

Can I take this opportunity to have a rant about Razorlight? Please someone agree that they are the most overrated band of this decade!! Don't get me wrong, Golden Touch was a half decent song BUT everything else on the album................
Every songs sounds exactly the same and the lyrics could be written by my 6 year old nephew....In fact to hear them on the radio, makes me angry.......I thank you.

Too tough to pick one so I am cheating
80's Prefab Spout, Meatloaf,Squeeze
90's I had a fondness for The Verve, Hootie and the Blowfish and Pulp
00's well I couldnt tell you a thing in the hit parade these days but I have to say Muse(coz my best mates brother is the singer) and I'm partial to a bit of the Scissor sisters.

If they just let their music do the talking it wouldn't be half bad. I like them some of their music is rather good.

That was the most homo-erotic post ever on blonde - you'll be taking Flushy's role off him if you're not careful
