Can we change the dates please!  Sad

I was really looking forward to playing this one as i'm only a 45 min drive away from Cardiff and didn't manage to get a seat for the English event.  It's my mother's 60th B'day on the 24th, so no way i can get out of that.  Looks like i'm going to have to wait for the next series to start.

Good luck to all Blondes that manage to get a seat.

Just got a price for a hotel room. I'll see you all at the next event. My budget can't cope with £165 for a room per night. That was with Future Inns and their not-so-easy to get around web-site. I can imagine other hotels charging something similar.

try the quality hotel in tongwynlais. its right off the m4, easily get to cardiff in 5/10 mins by car and my bro used to work there and it is really tidy. Should definately be cheaper than futureinn and because its a bit out of cardiff shouldnt be as pricey!

Hotel news

Sadly there is a complication because the event weekend clashes with the Carling Cup Final at the Milenium Stadium

This will between Chelsea/Wycombe and Spurs/Arsenal so a sell out there is fairly assured

I am advised that hotel rates are already high, however the football  finalists are not settled until AFTER the ticket buying date for this event

It may be an idea to book roooms now, allowing plenty of time to cancel should you not get a seat and know you have certainty of accomoadtion should you get that seat...

In the meantime we'll chase that hotel deal with Grosvenor, but it looks less possible now

Can't find any hotels online with rooms available for the 24th in Cardiff.  Not really able to call round any whilst I'm out here.

Anyone had any luck?

Try the Days Inn - Cardiff Airport.

My mate and I just booked it £130 for 2 nights, in a twin room.

Does anyone know the Days Inn - Cardiff Airport hotel?

I am guessing that the are going to be aeroplanes..... But any info will be good info..

I know I have a room just in case I get a seat!!!!

Although once the fianlists are decided, the rooms will go like wildfire.... There will be more chance of me winning the Sunday Million that people getting reasonable rooms if they dont book soon..

Thanks for the info BTW Tighty!!

I've booked a room there - thanks for the heads up. thumbs up

£75, which isn't cheap but probably the best available that weekend.

Think I will have to give this one a miss Smiley Gangs of soccer yobs roaming the city and extortionate hotel prices don't sound like a good deal. Hope it all goes well though.

Jury's had rooms available as well... they are in the city centre, not too far from the casino.

Did you call or book online.  I tried to book online today, and was getting the same response as Mary and Joseph in December.
