Certainly will - it should be a low buy-in, freezeout (actually double freezeout would be better - thinking as I type here  Wink) to give people confidence playing live poker if they've only played on the net.

The basic plan is early start, finish by midnight/1:00 so that people can go out on the bevvy after.

If anyone knows of any student poker groups/forums in Glasgow or surrounding area please let me know - no spamming - promises - but I will ask permission to let people know about the games.

Cheers,

Rod

BTW - we played 5 S&G's in Cincin's last night....7/8 players in the games & a good natured evening it was... but there were a couple of guys claimed to never have played.... I'll copy in Teacake's description as it's better than I'd write:

Quote
One of the guys told us at the start he was a novice & after some early exits he started to find a lot of big hands in the last game.He limped in & 4 others saw the flop which came KQQ. After a bet & an all in the guy to Rods right turns over AQ, very nice  then novice turns over KK  leaving the fella drawing to 1 card which he didnt hit.

Novice is major chipped up now & goes onto win, I manage to scrape 2nd.We're talking after the game I ask the guy how much he has played live. "Never" he replies "I've only ever played on my PlayStation". FFS I'm thinking this guy really is a novice, "Oh, & I've read a poker book." "Really?" I ask, "which book was it?"

And without a word of a lie the guy says " I don't know, but it was green"

At this point I nearly wet myself

Again i'll jump out from the place they call lurkingsville. The Saturday night £50 tournie that runs every week or does it alternate with the tax dodging ***Stards night? (that was a joke btw don't flame). Also are there cash games running all the time / after the tournies? I've not yet managed to make it along been in Vegas for a week and then was gonna do so after the falkirk game on Wed but through some weird twist of fate it ending up in extra time.
