Time to look for a new ISP as they have just switched off the ports needed to contact all poker sites. This may be why some blondites are having problems today.

Can you them ring up and cancel this (the block)?

I think I remember hearing that it's some form of "protection" thing that they have decided should be opt-out rather than option. I'm tired though so could be making this up.

This is a spam email going about, i am on tiscali and there are no problems, they would not block any sites as it is a breach of your data protection rights.
People down load illegally and and view inappropriate sites on tiscali so poker is of little concern to them.

mex i can assure you its not a spam email as I had a phone call about 7pm asking me to finish a final off for another blondite. While on the phone I could here his mrs (a solicitor) arguing with tiscoli in the background. He was unable to get into any poker sites and was told they had put a block on poker sites- they can unblock it and it will take a few days but hardly the point when you get booted mid game with no notice.

I'm sure there was another thread about Tiscali blocking someone's access in the evenings to Ladbrokes.

i've set someone home network up thsi afternoon using tiscali and he's playing now as am i, there may be a block on certain usa sites that are operating from reservation land with in the US, i saw some thing on a news program a few weeks back about it. This would  mean they monitor your sites which i am sure is illegal in the uk when it comes to data protection, nothing on tiscalis sites? anyone?

Just tried crypto, star, tribeca and full tilt.
No problems here, though they may be switching them off geographically.

My mate in Cornwall was using tiscali, due to play Leotop weekly final a few weeks ago (weds night) and tiscali blocked him.

Ladbrokes kindly let him play in the following weeks final, he WON and is now of to DORTMUND
