Shaa and Pennick welcome Cheesy

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Thanks TightEnd....it went rather well !!

Took the plunge to play live for only the second time last night, with a £100 buy in qualifer at the Vic in London. Just over 50 of us sat down, and after rebuys and top up,there was enough in the pot for 4 qualifers (£ 3,000 buy in normally).
I looked and acted like a novice.....which I think helped,because you're raises are respected!
Knocking out Jackarama on the way!...I managed to hang in to get to the final table of 10, where I found the great Willie Tann sitting opposite with a lot of chips!
I was the short stack to start...7,500 with blinds at 1000/2000...but with a couple of lucky all ins I hung around to the last 5.
With the crowd growing and me still short stacked, nerves were really setting in........but after an age of cat and mouse I have to thank Willie and the chip leader for pressurising and calling the second short stack to put him out..... and YES!! I had qualified for the big one next week.

So, now only 127 of the world greats to knock out over 3 days ....piece of cake !!!

Well done Smiley

Are they doing STT sats this weekend over there?

Someone popped the idea into my head about it, and now I can't let it drop. I have the info at home, but I am stuck in hell (work) for a while.

So, anyone gor the leaflets to hand/knows what the sched is?

I could of course just sit at home and blast the STT on Hills for the weekend - hmm torn!
