Broadway Festival: Day 1 - Interactive

Howdy, folks.
My good self and Chris 'NoFlopshomer' Hall will make up your live update team for tomorrow's £1,000 Main Event at the Broadway Festival of Poker.
Play is due to commence at 7pm, but I can't remember the last time I saw a comp start on time.
Last time I worked (that's the verb all the cool cats use) the Broadway, we had some terrible connection problems and were forced to use their own Internet system. Unfortunately, I am informed that it won't be available for back-up this time round, so fingers crossed that we can obtain a good reception from our vodafone cards and continue to bring you the best updates in town. I don't see why not, Brimingham's hardly in the middle of nowhere.
Make sure you join us and don't be afraid to shout out a name of anyone you wish us to follow.
Bonjour (as Delboy would say)

My Vodafone signal is pretty bad in the casino but then again Malcom's bunch of jokers have been doing their updates seemingly without problems....

I stayed in the travelodge across the road earlier in the week and my signal was equally bad. Picked up the GPRS signal but not the 3G one. Think that locality is obviously just a bad signal area.

Yep, you'll probably see me walking around the casino, laptop in hand, trying out every corner of the room. Not fun!
But if we can get up and running, this is where the best updates will be. Guarandamnteed.

I'm here. First words when I arrived?... "We have no power points."
Great!
Anyhow, speaking with Raj, it looks as though there is a chance I can stay seated at this table I am currently working from... dependent on number of players. EEK! Where's the snow when you need it?!
Knew it was gonna be a tricky day to overcome when my car refused to start. Dead battery it looks like. ARGH!
Anyhow, we ARE up and running and if all goes to plan, the best live updates on the net will be hitting your shores through the night.
Support needed today guys. Cheers. snoops

are you starting now? I told the wife I'm not going to her sisters wedding party as the live updates from the broadway are on, she is not very happy especially as she expected me to give her a lift, she's now going on the bus

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Not that its much help to you, but the best area inside the casino for signal is in the bar/lounge area - the one when you first walk in.

And here's one of this week's top cashes, Michigan Jeff Buffenbarger, who is, incidentally, from Michigan.
