The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Ouday Hikary is going to bulldoze everyone.

I've watched him grow from a loose-aggresive maniac into... Oh, hang on...

My three picks/boks are: Dan 'the unstoppable poker machine' Carter, Lucy Rokach and Matt Dale (mainly cos he's surely got to reach day 2 in one of these?)

Despite SofaKing's admittedly imaginative update, we are in fact scheduled for the full four day marathon, with all attending play... Arrived in Cardiff Central, took a train to Cardiff Queen Street, another to Cardiff Bay, then walked back into town several miles just to be different.  I hate to think what Danafish, guest updater has to say about that...

But we're here now, and there are a lot of people thronging Grosvenor Cardiff - among them tikay himself, who can throng with the best of them, The Claimer, Pab, JP, Sunny Chattha, Lucy Rokach, Ian Herbert, Nick 'Vodkaredbull' Hicks, Chris Bruce, Jim Kerrigan, Paul King (playing tomorrow), Jeff Rogers, Trevor Reardon, Michael Greco, Carlo Citrone...

The list, as ever, goes on.  And will go up as soon as we receive the printout.

Start potentially in 20 mins - I bet between 15 and 20 minutes post that.

Hi! I won't drag out the suspense any longer, today's mystery updater is none other than I! You're all so very lucky. Yes, I have accidentally found myself in Cardiff, at the very so-far pleasant Grosvenor Casino, in a little room up some stairs, previously the Staff Smoking Room but for the purposes of the next few days the designated blonde nerve centre.

We had a lovely trip up here, taking no fewer than 3 different trains - one to Cardiff Central, then one to Queen St, then one to Cardiff Bay. The walk from Cardiff Bay to the hotel was suspiciously lengthy, and when we got there, I noticed out of the window that it is in fact considerably closer to Cardiff Central, the station we originally came in at, than Cardiff Bay, the station that Jen insisted we had to get to. We could have been napping all that time. But as it is, we're here now, caffeined up to the eyeballs and raring to update.

Wish me luck! Constructive criticism welcome, but don't say anything too mean or I might cry.
