Andy Black on the TV table must be pretty fun to commentate on - and this hand is perhaps the biggest of the tournament so far...

Eric Van der Berg raised preflop (I only started paying attention when the live feed said, "Andy moves all in for something like 650k.") and Andy moved all in for something like 650k.  See, I paid attention.

Anyway, the dwell before the call (with Eights) was pretty tense, and Van der Berg can't have been happy to see the which Andy had managed to portray as weaker through that large all-in.
The flop brought 9-2-Q rainbow, but it wasn't until the came on the turn that Andy allowed himself a quick pace around the table and to settle back to count his newly-regenerated stack.  Meanwhile Van der Berg drops to 230k.

I tipped him at the beginning of yesterday, remember...

Just before the break, Josh Prager won a couple of pots to move up to around 700k. First he re-raised Jan Veit's 60k raise to 210k on a Flop before taking Steve Jelinek (called 36k in bb) off a Flop by betting 65k, the American showing Jacks afterwards.

Dean Sanders is OUT in 18th, only just got a bit of the action coming back to report the previous exit, but he apparently got it all in with 7-8 on a T-9-6 board against Marc Karam's T-9, turn and river came running sixes to send the gutted gutshot player home. Ouch, that's going to hurt. Sad

Mark Karem has got to be one of the luckiest players in the EPT finals. Wasn't this the same guy who caught runner runner to eliminate Marcel Luske in last years EPT final in Monte Carlo, after he moved all in pre flop, on a bluff.

seems to be a pattern emerging, black gets a stck then loses it probably to snapped off raises, then finds a big double up. Hold onto them ANDY FFS

Chip counts, from when they redrew the tables:

Kristian Kjondal -- 518k
Steve Jelinek -- 900k
Christian Neirinck -- 520k
Soren Kongsgaard -- 440k
Jan Veit -- 290k
Josh Praeger -- 685k
Carlos Mortensen -- 480k
Pete Giordano -- 580k
Gavin Griffin -- 1.327 million
Ram Vaswani -- 1.1 million
Andy Black -- 582k
Philip Hilm -- 126k
Marc Karam -- 1.15 million
Eric Van Der Berg -- 620k
Dave Peters -- 335k
Alexander Kim -- 820k

A couple of these stacks have changed though...

2 of my pics still in but agree that Marc Karam was lucky on making that boat - but you need at least 1 suckout or major piece of luck to go deep.

It's been a while since we've uploaded a DTD party pick, so here's another one for you to take a gander at...

Introducing a WSOP bracelet winner (I think) in Australia's Mark Vos, clearly intoxicating after finishing off his bottle of vodka in double quick time.
