Great effort by all of those who played, winners & losers all.

Sadly, Tighty won't be able to take his seat, as he's already agreed to do the blonde Live Update.........

 Shocked

may I rescind my offer, o mighty blonde?

There is a possibility that i might venture to the Grosvenor Cardiff on Thursday for one of the last Qualifiers.
However £110 to buy in is quite a lot of money to me. Is it realistically possible to qualify for the finals by playing it as a freezeout?
The question im basically asking is, are most of the other players going to be playing it as a rebuy?
What have fellow blondites found in previous qualifiers?
Am i also correct in stating that you do not get any money back until the finals at the weekend?
Does anyone know how far down the money will pay over the weekend?

Most will play it as a re buy and you will be at a disadvantage if you play it as a freeze out, having said that it is a realistic possibility to qualify, remember, you don't have to win

There is talk of paying all players who return for the second day (unconfirmed)

In my qualifier last week at Walsall there were 50 runners.

The prize pool gathered was £!0,600, so roughly one rebuy was average.

Prize money at Walsall for the finals: I would estimate either last two or three tables.

Good luck !

every player will be payed for qualifying red. In previous years the first 100 or so out get £100 or so to cover their buyin in effect (as long as they didnt have multiple rebuys).

EVERYBODY who qualifies for the finals on 15th & 16th gets their £100 back. - its a prize for qualifying. - so in effect you are in the event for nothing (unless you had several shots at qualifying or re-bought a lot).

I played 2 qualifiers and both times played them as freezeouts. - but now it is getting close to the finals (i.e. last few qualifiers to go) i expect people will become more desperate and will be playing the as re-buy comps.

Hope that helps
