Quote from Rolf Slotboom on Benjo's fears of a looooong structure:

"It doesn't really matter if the blinds are small and the stacks big. Some of the local players will still get it in with A-7 pre-flop."  Grin

Well, it looks as though the lack of TV cameras haven't scared off the Colclough custom, as he's 100% present and raring to go. Accompanying El Blondie today is his addict in training, Mr Goodwin, who is his usual bubbly self whilst Dave looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders.

yeap, I just talked to the 2 clowns a few minutes ago  what a pair they are Grin

This really seems like it will be a great comp, w/ only 120 runners it still pays the winner $400K plus, that would be the biggest payday ever for the "blonde 1" or the "cool 1" ..........  maybe.......just maybe...... 1st and 2nd........but would they chop?Huh??   can u get an answer for that before the comp starts Snoop, I would love to hear the replies to that Huh?? as I dont think u would get a direct answer.

I'll ask them when I get a chance Brian, but for now, here are the players I recognise:

Jeff Lissando
Anthony Lellouche
Johan Storakers
John Kabbaj
Tony Cascarino
Samir Shakthoor
Mads Andersen
Brian Johnson
Paul Testud
Marc Goodwin
Jani Sointula
Dave Colclough

Lots of French players, as you would expect, and no sign of a player list will mean lots of tapping on shoulders, lots of "Who are you?" and lost of "Qua?"

Lol, he's facing the wall at the moment, but I'll do my best.

Is he renowned for his gurning?

Well, it sure is a stark contrast to the mayhem of last year. It almost feels, dare I say it... calm in here.

We even have, and this will come to a huge shock to Jen, seats to sit on whilst we update!!! Quite remarkable. I still don't think my back has recovered from last year, but admittedly, it's tricky in a cardroom like to this to cater for so many people.

Anyhow, here are those 70 or so players (from what I hear, players are still entering). What a motley crew!

I like to slip one in unnoticed now again.

Plus, I need it for these updates.

I don't think my boredom gland has recovered from sitting on the ACF sofas for 3 days last year. Sounds much funner this time. Particularly the I'm-just-going-over-for-the-Disneyland-bit bit.

Well, even though the player possess a breathe easy 20k starting stack, we've still managed to lose Magide Kerzazi, who called a pre-flop re-raise of 6,400 with Queens and got the rest in, inevitably, on the raggy Flop. Of course, his opponent had Aces and swiftly doubled up.
