I'm sorry about this but I just had to post - I resisted the temptation a few days ago - but can no longer contain myself.

I have just had the most amazing few days. I'm a low stakes player - occasional cash ($0.05/0.10 or $0.10/0.20) but mainly MTTs ($11-$22) and have never been a gambler. I got the poker disease about 18 months ago and have been bouncing around the break even level. However...

Last Sunday I went down the pub and played a cash game and managed to win £143. On Thursday I fancied the added value of the Blonde $55 buy-in $2k gtd and managed to take down the 2nd prize of £300 against a field of 26. On Saturday I finished with a silver medal and £280 from the 141-runner APAT Asian Open. On Sunday I visited the pub again (how could I resist?) and managed to spin my £20 up to £260 in another cash game! Then finally, to top it all, tonight I took down the massive (to me) £880 first prize from 697 others in the $11 $6K gtd on Blonde!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about running hot! I've won the mind-boggling sum of £1,893 in 11 days for an outlay of £108.

I'm buzzing and full of adrenalin - I think I need a lie down!
