Chunky Stack Watch:

Lucy Rokach, up to nearly 40k
Kevin O'Leary (the one who performed the double takedown of Rudders and, as it turs out, Richard Redmond in that set vs. top pair vs. two pair hand earlier): 37k+
Dave Smith   84,000  Chip leader by a good margin and already over all but the top two of yesterday's finishers.

Hoped you spotted Lucy Rokach using the half-wilson here: http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=23764.msg483555#msg483555

Speak of Lucy, EPT Grand Finalist Steve Jelinek is having a tough time getting going due to Lucy's well chipped up stack three to his left. But on the plus side, he has finished that book he's always bringing to tournaments.

Damon D'Cruz as the Speak No Evil Brass Monkey.

Guess whose stack this is. A well-respected UK pro, who scares people with his constant raising, and he's going well so far here. Who is he?

Blind vs. Blind War News Now -

Small blind Chandra Khajuria and big blind Andrius Tapinas - small blind Chandra raised 600, Andrius re-raised, raise again (now there's over 14k in the middle) and then Andrius Tapinas got the final raise in by moving in for around another 12-13k.  The decision on the Helsinki-favouring genial player, he eventually passed giving his opponent what amounted to a flop-free double up.

Thanks to Jeff Kimber (pictured third, leaning out of shot, next to Dave Smith) for filling in the detail - I just saw the all-in and hovered until Khajuria gave it up.  Jeff says wistfully, "That pot's more than my chip stack in any Grosvenor Tour event so far."

I won't suggest a guess-the-stack for this one - the Hand Rankings propping it up might be a clue.  Yes, it's Mr. Cool Marc Goodwin, who, after a slow start has climbed to a respectable 25,000.

Julian is OUT.

He pushed from the button and both blinds called.

Flop:

Now a sidepot emerges as the small blind check-calls the big blind 2k bet and Julian isn't looking thrilled.

Turn:

The small blind now pushes, and Julian is looking even more worried, but the big blind passes. The Small Blind flips and suddenly Julian's on for a triple up until the...

River:

two hearts

Just before the break Lucy Rokach (big blind) and Steve Jelinek saw a flop of with a couple of others.  Short stack Steve bet 500 on the flop, only Lucy called.
Turn:  Lucy checked, Steve bet 800; call.
River: three clubs  Lucy checked, Steve bet 1,250 (leaving himself just 3k behind) and she called once more.
Steve, chagrined, showed for a risky shortstack triple bluff, Lucy's took the pot.

But then he doubled up off her a few hands after the break, so back to around 7k for the Monte Carlo finalist.
