nice one mick  thumbs up

had a quick look online last night and surely savvas dog westmead lord must have a chance? 2 decent recent times at wimbledon and looks well blessed with early pace at 33/1 looks good value. need to get a post and study some sectionals and splits.

Yes, Westmead Lord is an unusual dog for Savva because it has early pace and although early in its career it did not look as though it would stay strong 480's, it looks as though he has matured well in the hands of the competent Savva.

1. My first bit of Derby Advice is to stay clear of Ante Post Favourite, FEAR HARIBO. This is a class dog with everything a derby dog would want except one essential ingredient which is essential at Plough Lane, consistency at the boxes. He sometimes misses the break and no track is less forgiving than Wimbledon. If he had strength over a distance this would not be a problem, but he is no Late Late Show or Westmead Hawk. My decision is not based on his 2/7fav defeat in a Trial stakes the other night as no doubt this run will have been needed to blow the cobwebs out and the fact a pigeon chaser caught him after he lead to the line is not form l would bother with. I have watched him many times and for me he doesn't like to battle for Victory, which is something he will encounter several times in order to win the Big One.

LAY FEAR HARIBO

A dog i will be betting is called Droopys Robinho this dog has explosive early broke the track record aaround lifford for the 350 yards.
Fraser Black trains him so he will be well prepared he also had a recent spin over the 525 a flyin 28.46 around newbridge.

Early pace and stays get on lads he 16s at the min!!

We have three running tonight at Romford, Slick Sensation, Slick Soviet and Galdare Honcho.

Slick Sensation goes in a sprint and after posting a fast time in a comeback sprint the other night is in good form but he will probably need the run.

Slick Soviet was very unlucky in the Semi Finals of the Scurry, being wiped out at the first by a wide runner in three. He will go very well tonight.

Galdare Honcho is a brother of He Said So, and cost £700 after he broke a hock with Paul Hennesy. Great little dog, great draw tonight, fancied to go close.

went down bookies last nite to back micks tip he so kindly pmed me only to discover its gona be roughly evens.

not looking to lump on i decide to have a £10 fourfold try run up some money onto it.

the 7.30pm claimer was just about to start so i put the favourite in which won at 6/4
england and brazil to draw got lucky in the last min 9/4
and the last leg was dettori to win the derby at 5/4

unfortunatly micks tip trailed in a disappointed 4th 0f 5 after bad trouble.

shame really as came to a nice few quid for a tenner, never mind !

maybe next time

the bookmakers are slippery though, everytime ive backed a dog that was supposed to win but didnt when i go up to them afterwards and say: "it was supposed to win though" they dont pay me the bastards.
