What's good about these line ups is that excellent performers like Kuyt, Meireles etc aren't being mentioned.

I think one of Aqua/Meireles will go.

Good? I reckon a lot of people are going to be surprised when the season starts.

I reckon I can guess Kinboshi's team...

                                         Kuyt

Kuyt                     Kuyt                  Kuyt                    Kuyt

Kuyt                    Kuyt                   Kuyt                    Kuyt

                        Kuyt                  Kuyt

Kuyt
Kuyt
Kuyt
Kuyt
Kuyt
Kuyt
Kuyt

Manager : Dirk mfkn Kuyt

That's just silly. Kenny is obviously manager and Reina will be in goal.

4-4-2 but plenty of flexiblity as posted above can easily move to a 4-3-3

..and that is what is best to what has happened over the last 6 months.  We now have a Plan A, with a decent B and could look at a plan C.

Last Year is was Plan A...nevermind, always next week..........

Cant wait for the start of the season now. I've not held this much hope for our team for a long time. Suarez for the golden boot me thinks.

Go on Kin, Don't keep us in suspense lets see your team, I know you will have Kuyt in there but for who and what type of system do you foresee?

Just because I didn't have Kuyt in my XI , I still think he will be very important and will get plenty of starts in a flexible team.

I've already said that there won't be a standard starting XI, and instead the team will change each week according to the opposition and availability of the players.

It just amuses me that Liverpool's most consistent player over the past few seasons is expected to be on the bench by a lot of the fans. Maybe that will be the case and it'll be me that is surprised when the season starts.

Oh and no place for Lucas either in most people's teams, the other best player in the side last season.

Reina

Kelly  Carra Agger Johnson

Kuyt  Gerrard  Lucas  Downing

Saurez Carroll

Bench
Adams
Ngog
Doni
Srktel
Henderson
Maxi

I think the fact that Lucas is a Def mid then he is a must, with Kuyt, Downing, Gerrard being more attack minded.

4-3-3 is an option, with Kuyt up top, with Gerrard, Lucas, Adams, but would mean maybe Adams for Downing, as I'm not sure how good Downing would be in the centre-right and not being an out and out winger.  Would also mean Kelly / Johnson bombing down line.

You've made a few signings this summer but are you not worried about the lack of strength in depth up front ? You have two quality strikers but if they both got injured you'd be in pretty big trouble. It's always been the case that the big clubs have four good strikers and this will be a problem imo unless you run good.

Nah, you move Kuyt up front..job done. He had a tremendous scoring record at Feyenoord and it's actually his best position (IMO)

Think was discussed earlier in the thread.

If we lose both Carroll and Suarez to injury/suspension, then we have Kuyt who can play up top, with a whole host of others who can play in the hole - such as Gerrard, Mereiles (unless he goes), Maxi (unless he goes), Aquilani (who I can 't see being at the club come the start of the season), and there are one or two very decent youngsters in the reserves who would relish a chance in the first XI.

No pain, just amazes me that no matter what Kuyt does he gets very little credit from some quarters and so many are hoping to see the back of him.  Thankfully, they're not in charge at Liverpool.

I could score goals in the Dutch league

Didn't he start his Liverpool career up front and struggle ?

Just think you need one more recognised striker, either way I think Lpool will do well next season though, glglgl.
