Disgraced Liverpool director Tom Hicks Jr, who has resigned from the board after a furious reaction an obscene email sent to a protestor, faces further embarrassment this afternoon as more and more details emerge of his correspondence with Liverpool fan Stephen Horner.

Hicks has faced heavy abuse from the Liverpool faithful since an American consortium, led by his father, bought the club promising enormous investment, but instead ran it into the ground to such a degree that they were forced to sell stuff on ebay to claw back some cash. Liverpool fans’ associations rose up in arms after it was revealed that Hicks Jr had invited Horner to ‘blow me, fuckface’ in an email: an invitation which Horner, according to sources, ‘declined to take up’. But a copy of the full email, leaked to BACK OF THE NET, reveals even more childish insults from the American.

In response to Horner’s accusation that ‘your dad has destroyed the integrity of Liverpool and left us with appalling debts’, Hicks replies simply: ‘Your dad has. And your mom.’ In response to Horner’s observation that ‘you are doing more harm than good to a great club,’ Hicks writes: ‘You are’, before adding ‘can’t say it back’. At various points in the email, the Texan millionaire also addresses Mr Horner as ‘Poo-Brains’, claims that he ’smelt it, so he must have dealt it’, and includes a crudely-drawn cartoon of Mr Horner with his trousers down, crying, with the caption ‘Boo-hoo, they took my soccer club away, mommy’. The subject line to the email reads: ‘Reply to Mr Wanky’.

Although Hicks has stood down as director, Hicks Sr. refused to condemn the juvenile tone of his son’s offerings. ‘We’re from Texas, and down there we believe in coming straight out, saying what we mean, and then shooting people who disagree with it.’ He also stated that ‘God would judge’ any Liverpool fan who continued to oppose Gillett and Hicks’ monopoly over the Anfield outfit.

‘What the hell do these people know about soccer, anyways,’ commented Hicks. ‘Now if y’all will excuse me, I’m gon’ get me some popcorn before the third quarter starts.’
