Love all this like for a player none of you have probably ever seen play. Remember a load of you getting excited about Sahin
You mean you haven't seen him play?
As Alverton said, at that price for a talent at his age it's hardly a gamble.

That sounds remarkably similar to what AW said about Bentner before sending him on loan to Italy.

I thought Liverpool would be in the market for a David Batty type to 'beef up' the midfield. Coutinho seems to rely on his passing skills too much and stands a mere 5ft 8" which offers Rodgers no help with these tricky away ties at the likes of Oldham. Like Kin said the reds need to get some big units in there to put their foot in. Thinking they could go to places like Boundary Park and impose their passing game on the Oldhams of this world was naive of Rodgers. He needs to go more physical in his approach in these fixtures. Everton have nailed it as they are about to sign 'the bouncer' who is 6ft 2" and built like a brick shit house. He sounds like the sort of fella Liverpool need. Wake up Brendan.

The article seems to contradict the headline wouldn't you say?

Might be wrong, but I'm sure Rodgers will be utilising the new No. 10 on the wing rather than in midfield.

Can't see us keeping a clean sheet, Wisdom playing poorly and Carra could get embarrassed by the pace of Arsenals attacks.Could be a goalfest.

Big game for Lucas and Gerrard me thinks. Can't really see either side keeping a clean sheet in this one, so bound to finish 0-0

Despite having been written off by loads of Liverpool fans he's still got a lot to offer.
As for the match, a game of two halves and both sides showing why they are where they are in the league - neither good enough really. Would have taken 2-2 before the game though.
