its a great start Rooks

at what stage do owner/trainer start thinking of upping grades or entering prestigious events? I assume entries have to be made way before for the marquee events?

Ok so this morning after going through the night I shot to Oxford at about 9am. I walked the dogs and picked up photos of the first night Rodney won which was nice.

Also spoke to Mick about possibly getting him a race in an open under his belt while he is still classed as puppy. The only race that really suits is the 515m at Hove on 28th April, which is actually on Sky. It will be quite hard to be accepted for this race tbh, but Mick is going to try and get him a trial before racing at some point the week before, and if good enough he may be able to get in it. It is a small chance but we are gonna give it a go.

Other than that, a couple months down the line, the Cesarewitch competition is at Oxford. This is raced over 6 bends, and is  a big event on the racing calendar. I would like to see him in this and hopefully he will be.
