Hi to everybody, i am now back online again after an enforced sabbatical, we had a bit of an earth tremor here about 10 weeks ago, well they called it an earthquake and to be honest not something i would wish to live through again.

I ended up in hospital, broken leg and arm, i was lucky, approx 25 people in the town lost their lives, and many more lost their homes. Spent 6 weeks in hospital (i would never moan about the NHS again), and have since relocated to another town.

To those of you that have contacted me with your concerns i thank you and will be in touch shortly.

Well, i'm off to Manila now to play in the Philippine Poker Tour million peso championship on Saturday and hopefully Sunday (if i survive). The winner is guaranteed 1 million peso (approx 10K) or an all expenses trip and entry into the Legends of Poker tournament to be held at the Bike Casino in Los Angeles.

Not massive money to alot of you, but i'm in on a technical freeroll so not knocking it. I will report on my luck on my return, probably tuesday.

Now something for all of you going to play "Real Poker"

Texas Hold Em takes the world by storm
The last few years it's become quite the norm
Thousands of people make trhe trip
Like Bees round a honey pot
They descend on the strip.

They enter the Rio, dollars in hand
Thank you kind sir, that will be $10 Grand
The cashier smiles as she gives you your pass
Is this your ticket to becoming World Class?

The draw has been done, your on table ten
When you locatate it theres Scotty Nguyen
Next to also, Greg Raymer takes his seat
In no other sport can you achieve this feat.

The room is electric, you can feel the buzz
Your trying to focus but its all of a fuzz
The Mikeman annouces "shuffle up and deal"
I can only imagine how this makes you feel.

You need good fortune, luck and good play
If your to go the distance, go all the way
Some are aggresive, some like to plod
At some stage your likely to need the "Poker God"

You raise and you bluff, you call and you fold
You want to be a winner just like James Gold
12 Million bucks went his way last year
Just think how you could buy all that "blondepoker gear"

So if you are going i wish you well
To have a blonde winner would be real swell
But if you dont win, you dont grab the fame
At the end of the day
It's only a GAME!!!

Good Luck to You ALL
