My new glasses mean, suddenly, I can see so much better. So I've had the camera out again, & therein lies a paradox. Now In can see my photos better, I can see how bad they are.
EVERYONE takes lovely crisp photos - you, Geo, Rod, Milligan - who's a newbie - & even Dawn, but I don't seem to be able to crack it at all, I can't get the sharpness, or crispness.
Still, I'm improving.

With new glasses. Think you'll agree, lacks a llittle in sharpness, but the subject is at least visible. Epic stuff.

And now, with new glasses. I think you'll agree, this is not far short of Snowdon-Bailey standard.

Blackbird in the 2nd picture, yes, but you have failed to identify the species in the first photo. That is a FAIL, Mr W.
Rio. I know, I know, but it suits me just fine, + I get use of the Media Centre as an office throughout, & I have to do a lot of work, too, so that suits nicely.
Virgin, yes. Had planned to fly out on the Monday, but for some reason, on impulse, I decided to swerve that Flight. Gotta sort Purple Parking, & a decent Lounge now, & I'm sorted. Dean has offered me some $$$'s, got them in Texas I believe, & I have $3k or $4k left over from the last trip, so the $$$'s are sorted.

Those are the best wet tit pictures I've seen since the car wash scene in Cool hand Luke.

I'm not sure I much enjoy sexual innuendo, all seems a bit samey these days.
I was listening, however, to some ISIHAC tapes (DVD's?) yesterday, & was reminded of the sheer genius of Humphrey Lyttleton. All things considered - & it was on the BBC wireless of all places - how did he get away with it? Some of it was sexual innuendo, other stuff was just a bit edgey, considering it was the Beeb.
Pretty damn good, imo, like a cheeseburger Royale.
Of Lionel Blair, he said....
"The expert's expert was, of course, Lionel Blair. Who could ever forget opposing team captain, Una Stubbs, sitting open-mouthed as he tried to pull off Twelve Angry Men in under two minutes?".
Of the resident musician......
"....Incidentally, you may be interested to know that Colin's musical influences are, in fact, Middle Eastern in origin. Yes, mainly Shiite....."
Of one of Chompy's cook-chap heroes....
"....Today, everything on TV is celebrity-driven, of course. I even notice on my pack of breakfast sausages, there's a picture of Antony Worrall Thompson. Underneath it says "prick with a fork"......"
Humphrey is much missed.

Sadly, yes.

Sorry Dawn, a minimum level of photographic skills are required, & yours are shit. Stick to laying turf, imo.
