Whether she tried to trip him or he was daydreaming and was startled or he unprovokedly shoved here... The guy deserves whatever is coming to him for not even stopping to check she was okay.

Even if he didn't realise a bus was coming and even if he thought the road was a quiet country lane, the woman could potentially have hurt herself quite badly from the fall alone.

I do see what you mean with her leg, but...

I cannot make my mind up whether she does this to protect herself as he moves directly for her from 2 seconds out or whether she just threw a leg out there. Either way he definitely changed direction and made straight for her after he dodged the guy.

Inconclusive I would say but the just jogging on afterwards part is shameful regardless.

Although she was the one who was aware of the approaching bus m'lud..

The more I think about this, the more I think it was possibly one of those set-ups for social media.

1. She appears to stick her leg out for no reason
2. She can see the bus coming
3. He barges into her really solidly, for no apparent reason
5. He doesn't look back, like most people would, even if the barge was intentional

In the paper it said she saw the guy on his return run later on, but she didn't have him collared.

Very odd all round.

Yo Mr Mintcake...

Listen to them Doctor folk please...they do know their stuff. Take it easy but do try and look after yourself at the same time. You have done bloody brilliant with giving up the cigs, so make sure you do the same with your general health and diet etc.

I saw Sergio Garcia wearing his Green Jacket at his wedding the other day........will you be wearing your purple one to yours?  Cool

Vegas money received today with thanks. 16 weeks of DTD games paid for...cheers. I still feel it would of been at least double that if Jeeves was with you on that trip though.

Very much appreciate the advice you have recently given me too. Years of wisdom being put to good use.

It looks like she stuck her leg up to protect herself as he had changed direction towards her.  It was up in the air and not like you'd move it if you wanted to trip someone.

Anyway, he should definitely have stopped just to say sorry even if it was an accident.

Jogger Rage (cont'd)

Several newspapers report this morning that "an arrest is imminent in the Jogger Rage case". All seems a bit vague, though.

Fascinating how we all see exactly the same video in so many different ways.

Key, to my mind, is that the Jogger Bloke never stopped to assist the lady, or see if she was OK. He must have known he knocked her over, & it's human nature to see if she was OK before continuing on his joggy way.

This Gentleman of the jury finds him guilty.

Guilty of what? That is the salient question Tony.

The charges could range from ungentlemanly conduct to attempted murder?

Vegas Staking Returns

I managed to get started on these yesterday, & paid via Bank Transfer all of those listed below;

redsimon  1% PAID £80 9th August

Longines 1% PAID £80 9th August

SteveSwift 1% £80 PAID £80 9th August

Mohican 1% £80 PAID 9th August

Machka 5% £400 PAID 9th August

Engy 1% £80 PAID 9th August

Geo The Sarge - £200 £140 PAID 9th August

Sonour - 2% - £160 PAID 9th August

Doobs - 2% - £160 PAID 9th August

Knottikay - 1% - £80 PAID 9th August

Regards - 2% - £160 PAID 9th August

EvilPie - 2% £160 PAID 9th August

Methuselah - 1% £80 PAID 9th August

Bobby1 - £150 - £105 PAID 9th August

Redbull - 2% - £160 PAID 9th August

Lucky Alan - 1% £80 PAID 9th August

That still leaves quite a few to be paid, and I'll try to clear those today.

Reasons they were not paid yesterday include;

I don't have your Bank Details, or can't match them to your blonde alias. (Typhoon, Superwomble, Hhy, HutchGH, winkie)

Payment requested by means other than Bank TX (Pokerstars etc)

I needed to set up "new Payees" on my Online Banking

So, if I have your Bank Deets, most of you will be paid today, & I'll report back after I have completed today's batch.

Then I'll do the "Oddbods", which were Shipitgood (non-standard amount), MANTIS & Red-Dog (bottom of the list as they ran so good). There have been a few requests to donate repayments to Charity or the FCHD thing, too, which I'll deal with soonest.

It just said "arrest" Ralph, no mention of what the likely charges might be.

As you say, the potential range is huge. Common Assault or Battery seems to fit.

Not sure attempted murder works - attempted manslaughter would though.

There ought to be an offence called "Bad Manners", which would work, as he did try to Buster.
