Thanks guys.

Three good deep runs so far, but the scorecard still says 0/3, so I need to convert one soon.

All the comments are appreciated, and despite failing to hit the net yet, I'm loving it.

Not too many regrets about yesterday, except that fold with the fours full, I was pretty sure I could not beat three of them with the nut worst boat, but in fact they were all on the nut low and I would have got half of a very big pot, which may have made all the difference. We shall never know, but it's done now.

"More Scoopios when I walk the dog". Very good, 9/10 Mr MANTIS.

USB ports? Only at the cash tables, if they had them at the tourney table I would have bought my charger cable with me, but they don't.

Maybe I should just post updates when I do a SCOOPIO. Who'll be the first to volley that in?

Then again, there are worse places to sit.

That's the Sports Book in the background, so can watch the US Open, MLB, horse racing and all sorts.

Won the first pot I played. Flopped all the draws against aggro lady from California who is of Korean descent, got there and she paid me off.

23,000 from 20,000. Could do with a bit more of that.

Miss Hoang, who appears to be fully inflated today, has joined the adjacent table.

After reaching the giddy heights of 26,000 after some splashy play, I get......

And we see this flop:

 two spades three diamonds

Quite awkward, as we could well only be playing for half here, but I lead anyway. We are 3 way.

Turn is a blank, I lead again. It's an ugly King, then a fella sets me in.

I fold, having earned my Master Butcher's certificate.

As it happened, the river was a 7. One fella had flopped the boat, the other had the same A-4 as me, so I would have been quartered, unless my wheel draw got there, in which case I was getting half.

Terrible misjudgement to lead twice 3 way there. Heroic stuff if it comes off though.

So that's a big blow to be down to 15,000 so early.

Off to gird loins, be right back.
