More seriously, the pace of exits was astounding. We lost ~1,300 entries in the day in what was a decent structure.
Dangerous game, Big O, & for me, being patient is the only way I can play it, I just don't have the sexy moves.

Would that be Fire by the Crazy World of Arthur Brown ?

No choice Tony you'll have to get ripping early.

Won the first hand and so took the blinds.
Next hand, 3 way all in and I get three quarters.

Just back at Hotel after this afternoon's adventure.
It all went unexpectedly well until, well, it didn't.
With such a flat payout structure & baby stack, it had to be a day to gamble.
I drew the Button in Seat 8 & it was walked to me so I went for it & both Blinds folded.
A few hands later I find a lovely two way hand facing a raise & decide it's worth getting it in. To my horror, a third player (with a shorter stack) moves in as well now (he had bad Aces) & the original opener calls, so we are 3 way.
I was looking dead on the flop except for chopping the low with the bigger stack but runner runner spades on Turn & River to lock the High were a pleasant surprise & that took me to ~140,000. (I scooped the high & chopped the low with the big stack so basically got three quarters).
I was a bit revved up now so decided to take a back seat for a few orbits & see what was what & calm myself down.
A few tentative calls (weak play really) went wrong & soon I was sub 100,000 in the day's second 1 hour level.
One player with a huge stack had been busy with moderate hands & I decided if I could find something to go to war with against him I'd give it a shot.
Did not have to wait long, he opened yet again & I had the beautiful A-2-4-J-K with a nut suit & a 2nd nut suit. I 3 bet, he jams & off we go.
I had a near perfect match up, I had him at both ends, he had A-3-5-9-J, I could barely have wished for better.
Two pair on the flop (2-4-K) sounds nice but it was a horror flop for me, it counterfeited my low & gives him a beautiful wrap. The only positive was the K which pretty much killed him at the top end. Turn was an 8, now we are chopping but he rivered the 5 to complete his wheel wrap & that was that.
These Big O flips are a bit like A-K v J-J in Hold Em which is why, generally, I prefer to avoid them where possible. But I think the circumstances were perfect for it today. No regrets here, I got it in in great shape but it was not to be. Worth noting that we had barely sat down when those lucky running spades gave me that 3XUp, so as always, luck cuts both ways.
Those 2 days were one of my most enjoyable & satisfying 2 days poker I've ever had.
All good.
PS - thank you for the words of encouragement & support.
Oh - payment - I got $3,178, but there was a huge queue at the payout desk, so I'll pick it up another day.

Here's that slightly embarrassing moment when arriving to open your Day 2 Bag which appears to have about 5 chips in it.

Spending the afternoon (and the evening hopefully) across the room from Mr Kendall in the Venetian poker room today.
800$ plo8 , 213 entrants so far with 149 left towards the end of level 6. Late reg open for over 2 hours yet but I won’t fire another bullet if I bust as there’s a landmark satellite of the same game at the WSOP at 7pm (3:22pm local time now)
Lovely card room with free soft drinks and coffee service station, as well as regular cocktail service too.
They also use a version of PokerAtlas where the dealers enter the stacks every break too so anyone can actually track a player if they have the app downloaded .
Starting stack of 30k
1st break
Tikay - 22,500
Myself - 43,800
Level 7 is 500/1000/1000 just started as I finished writing this
