You are allowed to take a day off Tony to recharge the batteries, and you're also permitted to eat a balanced meal once in a while too.
Why not just play a little cash at The V one day especially after playing that bracelet event yesterday and the inevitable deflation. Go and eat that roast duck and pork with rice meal at Asia Noodles which you told me you enjoyed last year. It's a balanced and nutritious meal and if you observe the relative figures of the "diners" in the food-courts with those at AN it's easy to see which is the healthier diet.
Loving the updates and terribly jealous...
I'll make him eat a sensible dinner on Sunday when we are both dominating the O8 tournament at Binions.... Either that or take him over to Glitter Gulch

What is the buy in for the O8 comp at Binions?

And I know I'm going to regret this, but what is Glitter Gulch?

It used to be great when I first went there c1994/5.
It's a lap-dancing club but they have bouncers outside these days and I've not been even sightly tempted to walk through the doors on my last few visits, mind you given the right company and circumstances....

Can we have a deep run with lots of updates please.
I have the unders on this thread making 1 Million views before September 10th.
Loving your enthusiasm.
Thanks, & I realy appreciated the very kind words in your PM the other week, can't recall anyone saying such a nice thing as to blonde & myself.
Million views by September 10th. Think we'll get there sooner.
If I can find time to write as much as I wish, the Diary gets as many as 2,000 views per day once it builds up a head of steam, but when I don't update or write much, it falls back to 300 to 400 daily & it takes a bit of work to get the numbers back up.
I so love writing, but there are just not enough hours in the day for all the things I want to do, & I get so tired recently. The TfT thread is enormous fun, incredible, everyone just enjoys themselves, no foul language, no haters or serial dissing, I absolutely adore it, it epitomises what I always wanted blonde Forum to be. Sadly, some of the less pleasing habits from 2+2 inevitably creep across to here, hard to stop it really, "you are all moronic twats" sort of thing. Not exactly how we would wish to converse between adults.
Maybe a million views is a good time to stop, too.
We shall see. So many things I enjoy doing, & just not enough hours in the day.
I actually think reading "hand updates" from people is incredibly dull, but I needed to do it yesterday, as folks had invested in me. Not that it helped much, lol.

Re. passing a %age of any profits from swops on to your investors Tony:
This is just as wrong as passing on any losses would be, even more so as I know you wouldn't be doing that. Your swops are your business.
It would also be wrong to pass on any profits/losses from cash-games, degening in all-night dice sessions, or expenses for hookers and/or blow.
I take your point, Ralph, it just seemed like a nice "thank you" Freeroll for my Investors.
Anyway, the point is moot now, as Flushy never delivered.

Ah that's sad. Grea to see you enjoyed yourself though.
How was greenstein and matasuws table demeanours?
Rather glad you asked that. I know Barry reasonably well, but not so much Mike.
Both of them said very little really, as both were engrossed, as most of the "big" players were, playing Chinese Poker on their i-Pads. I find it hard to get my head round investing what, $100,000?, in WSOP Events & then sit there playing Chinese Poker all the time.
Barry never strikes me as someone who actually enjoys playing poker, but I guess he does, he spends half his life sat at poker Tables. He spoke a few times, polite, humorous, reasonably polite, clearly a man who has good "vision" it seemed to me.
Mike? Never shared a table with him before. Full of himself as he has had two excellent results in the last week, which he mentioned once or ten times, & why not, we all enjoy a little chirp when we win?
Quite brusque in tone, sharp rather than intentionally rude I'd say. He has lived his life inside the tiny little world of poker, so he is bound to be a little stunted as to social skills. Too much time wholly immersed in poker & the tone of 2+2 is bound to affect how we act. We see that on blonde plenty enough. He was socially awkward, rather than intentionally rude, I'd suggest.
I always like to look at peoples hands when trying to see what they are like. He has quite feminine fingers, never done a days work sorta thing, but hey, good luck anyone who can manage a lifetime of that.
I often wonder where he gets the money to play all these big events. Does someone stake him? Or is he genuinely a good, winning, player?
We can read potted character assessments of all these guys on any poker forum, usully acerbic in tone, ("
twat
") but I like to reserve judgement until I can see for myself. He was OK, I've met far worse. He probably thinks the same of me, if he even noticed me.
Great question Mr L.

Balanced & nutritious meals.......?
Not really me that, is it Ralph!
I've had a half pound cheeseburger & chips every day, 1 x daily Choc Eclair, 1 x daily Neopolitan (both fresh cream, both GIANT size), some smoked turkey sandwiches, Haggan Daaz ice-cream, couple of hot dogs, some fries, & 7 or 8 lattes daily. Can't understand why I feel bad really.
Phil sent me a text yesterday, said my blogs & Updates made him yearn to be out here, so I sent him a note this morning offering him the spare bed in my room. It's him or Maria, & he is less high-maintenance, & talks less.
Been busy trying to avoid Chompy, 100% success so far. Mr Channing drops by every day for a natter.
All good really.

Just remembered something that went off with Mike & I at the table yesterday.
I wanted to make him chat, so as to better understand how his mind works, what the REAL Mike the Mouth is like.
So we chitted & chatted, then I lobbed my little hand grenade across the table.
Do you do anything in life, any hobbies or recreations, pastimes, except gamble, Mike?
He looked at me a little confused, as if I were busting his balls or digging him out, then rightly deduced the question was serious. Then he rolled his eyes & pissed himself laughing, & tuned to Barry G & said something like....
Is this guy serious? Is he for real?
Lolz, ask a daft question.

Was half-watching the local TV news channel somewhere yesterday, & caught this really really weird headline, which I cant stop thinking about.
Guess it is just because we use the language in different ways to those in America, but it sort of tickled me. But not those involved.
Small plane crash
Still trying to get my head round that. How small can a 'plane crash be? Just a little bump, was it?

Enjoying the updates a lot.
Perhaps whenever you're playing and you're at a table with a 'name' in poker you could think of an appropriately probing question to ask each of them. Then report back, try not to get any penalties though. No penalties so far this year I notice, must be on your best behaviour?
Not sure of you were aware but there is a new Channel 4 documentary on over the last 2 weeks with 2 more episodes still to air?
It's called Terror In The Air and it's pretty incredible viewing.
High (low?) lights so far:
Watching footage of a man on board flipping out and shouting, "there's Iran, there's Afghanistan, we have to go down, down now!". He gets tacked to the ground by other passengers and then the narrator of the show announces it was the captain of the flight who was flipping out! The co-pilot had noticed he was acting erratically and managed to get him out of the cockpit and locked the door.
Watching flights landing in strong cross winds, seeing a plan coming in to land at a 30 degree angle and then straightening up at the last second, looks totally mad.
Then there is the captain and his copilot who didn't answer ATC calls for 90 minutes after passing their destination. Eventually they respond and report they had "difficulties in the cockpit". ATC press them for an explanation which they never give. It turns out both captain and co-pilot were working on their laptops while the plane was on auto-pilot and missed all landing warnings and calls from ATC.
If you didn't series link it before you left then it's available online:

I would suggest posting on blonde if you are sitting with a Name or a Celeb and allowing the people to determine the question to ask - a sort of In the Well. You can always tell them about the blonde forum and its most handsome, witty, erudite and verbose posters.
"So, Mike Matusow, would US money be better if each demonination note were completely different colors?" (Note the spelling)
"Barry, do you have a ritual for brushing your teeth? Left to right? Molars to incisors? Top to bottom?"
"Kara Scott, money is being made obsolete tomorrow so you have one night to spend the $500 you have left. What do you do?"
"Phil Hellmuth, would you be a dear and get me a sticky bun, please?"
