Sat here in Dublin watching the post-match analysis of the Ireland game on RTE with Eamon Dunphy.

Remind you of anyone?

Ohhhhh, happy birthday. For what it's worth, I'm in the   Tony club.

I think you've cheated by not having your birthday on a SPT tour date. Didn't you get a birthday cake at DTD one year?

Yup, I get all sorts of pressies at SPT's, it's an amazing thing really.

As I said earlier, SPT's are pain & gain. Can't really have one without the other I guess. Love the people though, just enjoying themselves.

That Tour is in Season six now I think, we've done around 40 of them, & been to most Venues we ever wanted to.  Dublin this year was exceptional.

Thought you didn't 'do' birthdays?  Even more surprising was reading a hand history in your diary...that YOU posted.  WTF?!

Anyway, Happy Tuesday Tikay Smiley   disco

I make a poker post every year, never miss.

Think there are better folks than me for poker stuff.

We should of known it was his special day as he has been littering the forum with exclamation marks randomly.

Here, take this.                !

Behave.

I often do an exclamation mark "solo", to express surprise, though I'd like one of those interrobang things on my keyboard.

Bit of a pet dislike of mine, over-used exclamation marks. I do the "Bingo Exclamation Mark" game, too, try to guess how many a Poster will include in a single post. Think the record was 17 in a 7 line Post. He gets easily surprised, one surmises.

Pretty moving stuff you've posted today.

Happy birthday Tikay.

At my age Keith, there are plenty of things to look back on. Condense them in a series of Posts & it can look bad, but that was just a snapshot of the ups & downs of a wonderful life. If I posted the ups it'd sound chirpy, but there have been more than enough.

I recall as a primary & secondary school kid, I was the oldest lad still wearing short trousers. Short trousers were the thing in those days up to the age of 9 or 10 of course, but I was still wearing them at 13 & 14. Kids being kids, they'd take the pee something rotten, & I'd literally squirm with embarrassment. You don't have to hit a kid to hurt him.

Strange how we remember some things from so long ago. The rankle still rankles to this day. You'll never see me in shorts, that's for sure. Angus Young I ain't.

Happy birthday
Absolutely loved the last few pages.

I think the work you and Tighty put into the Sky events is fantastic. The structures are great and whilst you get the odd moan, the vast majority always seem to come away happy, win or lose.

Thanks Paul.

Yeah, tremendous fun.

Losing a £700 pot to you with A-K v Jacks, not so much......Wink Thought I played pretty well all session actually, though I ran outrageously well. Not sure how I should have played that AK hand, though if I'd won, I'd not be questioning myself.

Absolutely thrilled about your recent good news, though I don't know if it is intended to be kept quiet for a while. Mum's the word, eh?
