Thanks Neil.
Am slipping back into critical mode again, 14 bigs.
Will have to re-engage gamble mode before play ends in half an hour. Don't like gambling, too scary.

Well done , very enjoyable diary.
Have you heard of accumix and is it a new thing?
http://www.accumix.co.uk/diy-concrete/
One has turned up next door has tank of water and concrete mix on board and makes/mixes it on site and they only send the amount you need by the looks of it.
Hope this is of some interest.
Good luck for the rest of the series.

Busto.
Found this on the button, playing 12,000 at 500-1,000, with just 13 minutes of play remaining, and blinds presumably starting at 600-1,200 tomorrow.
And guess what the Small blind had?
Not only Aces, but both my suits. What are the chances. (Rh).
No improvement was forthcoming, so that's that.
Shame, we had a good run today until Level 8.
Think we finished about 150th, with 117 paid.
Thanks for the rail. Am off to have a sulk now. And burger and chips, followed by 2 choc ices.
Night all.

Unlucky Tikay, at least you know the burger will be decent...
Choc-ices in Vegas? That's blasphemous with so many great options on offer!

Just received this text from my son :-
"I just bought some back to life!!! I got flagged down to a man who had no heart beat and was not breathing.. So I start cpr and mouth to mouth and I got him breathing again. Paramedics took control once they turned up but I brought him back to life. I feel incredible ATM."
Feeling like a really proud parent at the mo with a lump in my throat.

That is the best thing I've read all month - wow.
I have a routine first thing every morning. (It's morning here).
Read & reply to e-Mails. Mostly moans or problems.
Work through the Community next door & reply as need be. Lots of moans & groans "me me me". I generally ignore the moany stuff, but reply to all the "positive vibe" threads.
Read through blonde. Try to ignore all the sense of entitlement & moans & groans, & try to concentrate on the positive stuff.
There's been some good positive stuff today, including Simon Deadman, who exhibits such class whether he wins or loses, & another great day on Fred, where we have won over £1,000 in 2 days thanks to Adzy, Doobs, with more to come from Chompy after an extraordinary performance by Ryan Moore.
But you, MrDickie, have topped the lot.
I'm also chuffed you chose this thread to post it on Sir.
Wonderful, just wonderful.
I shall skip down the Rio corridor today.

One of my members at my last gym keeled over. He was happily jogging along on the treadmill one minute and the next he was flat on his back. Me and some of the staff leapt over the counter and rushed to his aid. We were greeted by a sickening site of this guy totally grey in the face and lifeless. We frantically performed CPR on him until the paramedics arrived but sadly they said there was little hope. We watched as they took him out to the ambulance...but rather than race away it was parked there for 20mins.
Later on that evening I nervously phoned the hospital to find out how he was doing only to be told he hadn't made it and was dead on arrival. We were all pretty shaken up and didn't really know what to do. His wife was a member at the gym too and we knew she'd be devastated. The next day I phoned the local florist and ordered a huge wreath with a sympathetic message offering all our condolences about this tragic event.
Two days later one of my staff gave me a message that the wife had called and needed to speak to me. I went to the office, picked up the phone and prepared for a very awkward conversation with a very upset lady.
And my God was she upset.
Woman: "What the fuck do you think you're playing at?"
Me: "Huh??"
Woman: "My Trevor is alive and kicking, I'm taking him home from the hospital tonight"
Me: "Errr"
Woman: "You taking the piss??"
One of the most embarrassing things that's ever happened to me!! Girl at the hospital had got the wrong guy or given me the wrong info. They were both back in the gym a few weeks later running on the treadmills again. Never let me forget it either.
I'm still a hero though right?? Or at least that's what I tell myself.

And another great story.
Keep these coming please, we want morrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeee of them.
Honestly, the world has lost its sense of perspective & yes, I expect that includes me sometimes, but we need more posts like that to keep it real.
