Tikay, did you know that in world history there has only been 1 war when 2 democratic countries have declared war on each other.
Can you name the war and the 2 countries?
But do it quietly, and use as few words as possible.

Lol, that's better than your riposte to Flushy on the "Daddy Win" thread. "Sorry, I thought someone had said something nice & you were puking".....

I gotta go do some work in a bit.
I've just done a "Voice-Over", tricky stuff that. I had to be recorded sound only, no vision - saying...
"Stacked Up. 9pm Tuesday"
"You want Auto-Cue? says Boss Lady.
"Nah, I can manage 4 words without an Auto-Cue" Mr Smug says.
So we record it.
"Stacked Up. Tuesday. 9pm"
"No no no, we want "Stacked Up, 9pm Tuesday".
"Sorry, I'll try again".
7 takes later......

Am working with Kara Scott tonight, doing "Sky Poker Unlimited" at 9pm, Live, for 30 minutes, & then the Sky Sports Simulcasted "Five-O" at 10pm.
The Guests on Five-O are described on the Guest sheet as "Cliff Jones, & Clive Walker, ex-footballers".
Anyone know any "interesting" questions I can throw at them?

I'm not explaining myself well really. I still contend that the amount of blathering, more specifically, the amount of mid hand moodying/blathering, might for most players doing it do more damage than good.
However as your main motivation is fun, and your results are consistently good, I must be competely wrong in regard to it within your game tikay!
there's a time and a place, and I think sometimes with you tikay, it strays away from that time and place.
Public enemy number 1 off to watch second half!

Cliff Jones, Welsh winger, played in the Spurs 60-61 double winning side. 50 odd caps for Wales
Now a circuit after dinner speaker and match host at WHL on matchdays.

I take your point Rich, I do. I'm not entirely sure I agree, but I hear you.
I do that "thing" where I pick up my stack of 10 x 1k chips, clearly meaning to Raise it to 2k (Pot-Size & all that) & "mistakenly" throw in the "wrong" half of the stack, the 8k stack, then go to pull it back. Everyone knows I'm joshing, but it does cast a little ray of doubt in their mind - "does he have 7-2, or A-A?". I often say - always truthfully - "I've hit that" (flop), or "I'm huge" just to try & slow 'em down a bit. I think that's all quite legit, & harmless fun - it beats vitriolic speech-play all day long. I'd only do it on a "good" table of like-minded folk, usually at DTD or Luton, where I know most of the players, & they know me. I'm not convinced that my Results at, say, Luton, (which I'm actually quite proud of) would improve measurably if I played "conventionally". Speech-play & banter is part of my arsenal. Almost all of it, probably.
If keeping schtum meant better results, well sod that, I'll stay as I am & enjoy myself. If I thought I was marring other players enjoyment by blathering, (in the same way mardybums, whoopers, hollerers, table-bangers or vitriolic speech-players do) I'd stop, of course.
A great musing point you've made there Rich, & it's set me thinking, I admit.
