an you please help trying to remember name of film, where the lead character had amnesia and had to tatoo himself with info regarding previous day.

Cheers in advance

If you liked this film then it's worth watching the original film this was based on  "Irriversible"   if you don't mind watching sub-titled films.     Like Memento it has the back-to-front scenes of actions - plus a particularly gruesome (but have to watch lol) scene at the beginning with a fire extinguisher.

I was slightly more put off by the 9 minute rape scene that was shot in one take from one camera.

Me too, it would have been better with more cameras

bolt you are  brilliant

Id say he was pretty fecked up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

calm down!! I was just kidding about the cameras!!

It was the time that dissapointed me, 9 minutes....pffft!!

Memento is excellent.  Another great film starring Guy Pearce.....LA Confidential.

Great film.

It prompted me to read James Ellroy's book afterwards and that is even better, although they did a very good job with the film conversion.

Same here, I went on to read more of Ellroys books and there are so many with the same characters from LA Confidential. It's a shame they made that movie first as it is one of the final of the books with them in and a lot of the excellent character development came from prior books.

My favourite being The Black Dahlia which they made into a so-so film with Josh Bloody Hartnet in it! Although it had Scarlet Johansen in so I forgive them for that one.
