My sound has gone completley on my lappy.

I was watching some eps of scrubs today as i do most days then simply closed down one of them went to open another and no sound. I have tried seeing if it was just the site but i cant get sound on any now, so strange it just went all of a sudden.

Any suggestions welcome, thx

Have you checked the volume controls/mutes (both hardware and software)?

I get it every so often on my lappy, reboot always fixes it.
I've never gotten round to finding out why it happens but i suspect reinstalling the sound card would sort it.

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.

RAM would probably help, but not as much as a good old format.
