Full discussion on the APAT forum but I am posting across other forums and will answer any questions blondes have

London, August 3rd, 2007 – The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (“APAT”), in conjunction with Blue Square, today announced details of the sixth live event in its critically acclaimed tour.

APAT is the world’s first combined Poker Association and Tour, and will hold the European Amateur Poker Championship at the Grosvenor G Casino in Luton, over the bank holiday weekend, August 25th to 27th.

The entry fee will be £75.00 and the winner will take home an expenses paid entry to the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final, worth up to $8,000, in addition to the European Amateur title and a substantial cash prize.  Players will not be required to pay a registration fee for the event and APAT standardised rules will be in operation at Grosvenor.

Players will start the event with 10,000 in chips, and a structure designed to encourage creative play throughout.

300 seats are being made available and these will be allocated in the following way:

• A seat option will be available for every $160 in the prize pool, via one online satellite at Blue Square, taking place on Monday August 6th at 8pm sharp. This event will feature a $20 + $2 entry fee.  The Blue Square poker client can be downloaded via www.bluesq.com.  The APAT satellite can be found under “Scheduled Tournaments / Satellites”.

• The remaining seats will be allocated via a direct buy in at www.apat.com on Wednesday August 8th at around 7.00pm.

The event will feature two day ones and players will have the opportunity to nominate on which opening day they would prefer to play.  Day options will be granted on a first come first served basis as there will be a requirement to have an equal number of players on each day one.

APAT members from several European countries have expressed their intention to travel to Luton, ensuring that this will be the largest and most international APAT tournament field to date.

In season one, APAT features seven national and international events culminating in the World Amateur Poker Championship.  Each APAT event winner receives a cash prize, an engraved Championship Cup and an expenses paid Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, European Poker Tour or World Series of Poker main event entry.

Details of the APAT World Amateur Poker Championship will be announced later in August, where the winner will take a Blue Square sponsored expenses paid entry to the main event at the World Series of Poker.

APAT Membership can be obtained online at www.apat.com.

Not there for me either - someone at BlueSq needs to get on the phone to whoever sets these up.

On blonde when you go to cashier it gives you 5 or 6 different methods but when you go to cashier on blusq (or at least on mine) it just goes straight to a netteler pay page. Am on live help with neteller now, its a nightmare!

Having a nightmare with neteller, am trying to swap over my card details to my new account but when i deposit it still says my card details are registered with old account and i need a ne card to desposit. Live help is being helpful but the security is so stringent.

Just as a back up plan is it possible to fund transfer player to player on blusq?

You should be able to deposit using all major credit or debit cards, in addition to Neteller.  If it is your first registration, you will be eligible for a $500 signup bonus also.

The satellite should be on the BSQ client this afternoon.

You can only use one deposit method at a time, so if you're set up with one method you have to contact them to change it to a different one. I did this on Saturday and it just took a few hours from my initial enquiry to being able to deposit.

But if you can deposit with the one that's already on there it might be a better idea to wait until after this qualifier to change it.

But anyway that's why it doesn't show you all the different ways of depositing straight away like it does on blonde.

The sat is in the software now - no password protection or entry restriction.
