Julian Thew is OUT -

After a very promising nearly two days, he found himself with 45k facing a raise from Dags Mikkelsen to 5,500, holding .  "I heard that lots of aggressive Scandinavian players have been calling in position with pairs like Nines and Tens," mused Julian, "I decided to call..."  The flop came 8-4-5.  Mikkelsen bet out 10k, and Julian moved in.  "As soon as he called I knew I was toast," admitted Thewy, and sure enough Dags had made a set of Fours.  "I had a good run," though, he added, with the same equanimity with which he often faces elimination, even close to the bubble.  There are currently 64 players remaining, and they will stop at 56 - the money.

And what about Samuel Laborde?Huh?? Pleeaaaaaaase!!!!!!

I don't see him...that isn't a 100% guarantee of being out, but there's a good chance.

Phil Starrs on the other hand is definitely still in, don't have his count though.

Can you try and get updates on Ansky (Dani Stern) and Adam Junglen? Thanks.

Adam Junglen looks have over 160k now. I was over on the other side of the room behind a press rail and saw a crowd gathering around that table, then with a fist pump, he raked in a big pot.

Sadly this below is the best view I can get of his stack. One of the spectators told me he had A-7 against K-Q and flopped two pair to bust the player who was sitting to his right. Probably not the most reliable information ever but all I could manage sorry.

Dani Stern is even more problematic to provide news on, he's right in the middle of the room, and the only nearby spectator rail is being used by Pokerstars to set-up their feature table for tomorrow. He has his back to us from the press rail, just to make matters worse.

TioMac - I'm afraid I don't know the names of any of the remaining Spanish players, but I'm sure there's still a fair few.

60 players remain and we are 4 from the bubble. Paul Wasicka is the latest casualty, though he still had time to come to the pressroom to do an interview, seems like a nice enough guy.

DTD's Michael Greco has doubled up with A-K against A-9. And then sighed very loudly. Cheesy

Yes, we're down to the actual bubble, play has slowed to a crawl and players' railers are getting really, really excited.  I can't see a thing, but I have found three young informants perched on chairs ringside who shared this information about Wasicka's exit with me:
Paul Wasicka moved in preflop with , called by Sylvester Geoghegan with .  The flop was a resoundingly straighty 9-T-J and Sylvester was apparently jumping up and down in an agitation of joy as he knocked out the American pro.  Apparently there had been quite a lot of chat with Pete the Beat on this table, lots of, "If you raise once more I am going all in," followed by, "Well, I'll call."  Pete couldn't call this time (he had 5-7 off) but Mr. G. could and did.

A couple of earlier big stacks have been severely shortened in the last level - it looks like Dani Stern now has around 40k, while Fabrice Soulier is the most dramatic riches to rags tale of today - the Chair Informers tell me he has only 30k after a prolonged downswing that started when he paid off a player with Sevens full on the river and has ended with him in precarious position on the bubble.

Did I mention it's..............

This was the guy I think who got off to such a good start today, busting a couple of players and building a very nice stack...mentioned earlier in the update. He definitely wasn't so far ahead of the pack in the last few levels but last time I checked was still in.  Unless he was the bubble (which just went - Homer has the details) he's made the last 56 players and therefore Day Three  - tomorrow.  Full counts will be put up when they've been counted...

And the bubble has bust. A short stack moving in with and getting called by Martin Wendt's A-K. A King on the turn putting everyone else in the money.

Managed to get a shot of Dani Stern during the bubble for Yuv. Looks to have a stack of blue, a stack of red and two stacks of grey, so around 34k.

So 56 players remain, and just like that, we've stopped for the night. Play restarts at 5pm (4pm UK). Tomorrow, the feature table will be set-up as well as the redraw for the remaining players. For the Brits, Michael Greco, Ian Woodley, Phil Starrs and Javed Abrahams are all still there we think.

See you tomorrow.
