Add more chips to Dani Stern's stack.

I don't know the preflop or flop action, but he just called 7k on the turn of a board before both players checked the river. His J-5o (no spade) was good enough to take the pot, which looks like 20k from this picture.

Adam Junglen at the same time busted a short stack with vs , board coming Two Clubs .

Lazarus comeback no.1

Dag Martin Mikkelsen aka "DMMikkel" all the way back up to 40k after dropping that huge pot to Antonius.

Lazarus comeback no.2

Jan Sjavik (in seat 1), down to around 4k, now on 41k.

Thomas Wahlroos doubles up with against three diamonds , the board an emphatic for complete overkill. Perhaps he'll push his own stack over this time instead of someone elses?

With 15 minutes left of play the authoritative voice of big T.K. himself ordered everyone apart from players to vacate the tournament area.  This was doubly necessary as the spectators had gradually wormed round all the tables, and showed even more reluctance to be prised away than the press...

Here's what I saw before that happened:

Rolf Slotboom is eliminated with vs. - all in pre - (not sure how they got to the part where they were all in with a crowd shouting round them).  All I know is a Ten came on the river and there were many handshakes as Rolf left the table...

Paul Gourlay raised on the button to 1,700 and found the big blind shoving over the top for another 11k or so.  Paul had 13,500 behind and this was therefore a pretty crucial decision.  He got the full countdown treatment and eventually passed...he was shown the as his opponent took the pot down...

Other counts, given that it's not quite end-of-play and anything can happen in good old No Limit Hold'em...

Jan Sjavik  37k
Praz Bansi  16k
Marc Goodwin  15k
Martin Wendt  35k

It looks like we'll be ending today with a few more than last night - the screens say 114 players remain so let's guess...107.  Full chip counts from the combined Day Ones (which together make our redrawn Day Two) will be posted tomorrow before the start of play, which is 5pm (4pm UK time).

That's all we can get for tonight, so it's time to

Full chip counts to arrive later tonight, (much later) so they'll be put up first thing tomorrow.

A general note about Day 2 is that from now on, all tables are going to be 8-handed, instead of 9.

Time for Jen and I to saunter along the empty streets of Barca and collapse into our respective beds. See you all tomorrow at 5pm. Smiley
