i want to go on holiday in late spetember with the mrs but Vegas is out apparently  Cry

anyone got any suggestions for bit of beach, bit of culture?

I've always done the beach/culture holidays separately.  We've either gone for a 'bit of culture' and then spent a week or two taking in everything we can physically manage in the time, or we've gone for a week or two of lying by the pool or on the beach chilling out.

Wherever you go it'll have more culture than Vegas anyway!
