New kids on the block - The right stuff

I won a dance contest at my local youth club to this baby.

was going to red card you then because I thought it was early 90s, but actually back end of 89 if I recall correctly.  Hangin' tough was also the first ever number one of the 1990s.  Thoroughly deserved too.  When I was 15 a ouija board told me i was going to marry Joe and have 7 of his babies.  I didn't move it, honest.

I was infact 9 and had the leather jacket to go with it....man i was cool Smiley

think the first records i bought were

the best years of our life - cant remember who by

and Gloria by Laura Branigan

think they were both early 1980s and i was very sad!!

gotta have pass the duchy in there - classic song

plus maybe some 5 Star, Terence Trent Darby and LL Cool J.  Remember being about 12-13 so must be around 1985 and going on a driving holiday with my parents and had both the Terence Trent Darby and LL Cool J albums on my Sony Walkman!

i am sure i listened to some cool stuff like U2 and New Order but the above just stick in my mind

Good shout for dont you wnat me by human league - from memory it went to no 1 in 1982 - still one of my fave ever songs!

Memories!!

Sledge Hammer - Peter Gabriel

and every Heaven 17 and Level 42 song ever released he he

Had a big thing for Glen Gregory in my youth - sigh
